Doğukan Özpınar, known by his artistic alias OtherMxn, is a multi-talented instrumentalist, composer, vocalist, and creative director. His artistic journey began with a quest to create a unique sound that reflects his identity. After winning a scholarship to attend the prestigious SAE Institute in Istanbul, where he studied Audio Engineering, Production, and Music Business, OtherMxn's first album, "Generation X," emerged as an embodiment of his eclectic perspective.
 

OtherMxn's live performances have shared the stage with cult producers like Vitalic, Dorian Concept, Boys Noize, Midland, Weval, among others. He has also collaborated with independent foundations and magazines in Istanbul, constantly striving to innovate and experiment with new music genres. OtherMxn's recent projects focus on combining rap with elements of emo, indie pop, post-trap, and hyper pop, ultimately creating a distinctive sound that breaks through traditional music genres.
 

Born and raised in the vibrant, yet culturally polarized city of Istanbul, OtherMxn's music reflects his search for belonging and exploration of solitude. In 2018, he founded Vigor Power Generator, a design enterprise that allows him to express his artistic vision as a designer, stylist, and photographer, working on various art projects and collaborations.
 

As a creative director, OtherMxn also directs his music videos to convey his unique vision. Unlike traditional sampling, OtherMxn composes and produces every detail of his music to create a distinctive sound that stands out in the local music scene. With his dedication to innovation and experimentation, OtherMxn's artistic journey promises to take his fans on a wild, unpredictable ride.
